When to travel to Alagoas? A summer that never seems to end

In Alagoas, summer stretches on: sun, pleasant temperatures all year and warm-water beaches. But some times of year are especially magical.

It's true: in Alagoas, summer stretches on. Radiant sun, pleasant temperatures all year round and warm-water beaches make this part of north-eastern Brazil a delightful destination in any season.

But for those dreaming of the most striking landscapes of the Costa dos Corais, the protected stretch of coast where Pontal da Enseada stands, there are times of year that are especially magical.

Summer in Tatuamunha: December to March

Between December and March, nature shows itself in all its splendour. The days are long, hot and sunny. The sea shines in hypnotic shades of blue and green, the winds are gentle and the energy of the seaside villages picks up.

It is high season in Brazil, and an irresistible invitation for anyone wanting to escape the European cold and live the southern hemisphere summer with authenticity, comfort and natural beauty.

September to November: the shoulder season

Between September and November, the region enjoys a delightful shoulder season, with a dry climate and a calm, enveloping atmosphere. It is an excellent option for travellers with flexible dates or who want more intimate experiences.

July and August: calm and rest

July and August are also good options. There is no cold or heavy rain, and temperatures remain pleasant and milder. The sea is still recovering from the rainy season, which tends to peak between May and June, but this period offers silence, rest and the calm of an in-between season.
